Happy New Year

It is 10:30 in the morning and the house is quiet. Not a normal thing around here. But it has given me some time to sit and reflect on this past year.

And what I keep going to is my precious new baby. My surprise of 2006. The baby I didn't know I wanted, didn't know how bad I needed. How empty my arms were until they were full of you....

This has also brought on some changes for me, some readjusting of my life as I knew it. My friends are great, love me, love my boys and new baby. But their kids are older, like my first two. I've had to except that I am in a different place right now, and that's okay.

But thanks to my new friends (post below) and this whole blogging thing, I feel connected again. I'm not alone.

Well, hubby is awake now too. Said he smelled coffee! All 3 boys are sound asleep. I guess we wore them out last night. We were all up to ring in the new year. Can't wait to see what it will bring.....
