Happy Thanksgiving

Yesterday at school Hunter had a Thanksgiving Feast. As you can see he was a Pilgrim. Half the class was Pilgrims the other half were Indians. When it was time to eat the Indians, who were on one side of the room, went to the other side and invited the Pilgrims to eat with them. Hunter's little friend Alex was an Indian and asked him over. They got to eat together and watch a cartoon movie of how the Pilgrims came over on the Mayflower. But I don't think the real Indians and Pilgrims ate popcorn, pumpkin muffins, and cookies shaped as turkeys.

We are watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Hunter is more excited about seeing Emmit Smith from Dancing with the Stars than he is anything else!!

For some reason I remember this silly little joke from when I was a kid.....

If April showers bring May flowers, what do May flowers bring?...............................Pilgrims!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

How cute. What a neat idea for a Thanksgiving Feast- love it! All Noah's school did was go see Wilbur the turkey at Chesterton Feed & Garden! Ha!

What a cutie! ok, I'm very tired writing this and when I first read your blog, I thought it said, when it was time to eat the Indians... I thought, WHAT? What kind of cannibalistic Thanksgiving are they teaching those kids! Whew! Too much triptophan (sp?)! Happy Thanksgiving!
