Priorities *Updated
Today I will clean this desk. It has turned into a catch all for every member of this family. Even the baby will put toys and sippy cups on it. Should I be embarrassed by this picture?
We went to the mall, got the most adorable pictures taken. I won't get them back for a couple weeks, but think Carter in his football jersey with a football helmet! We shopped, only now I realize I didn't buy myself anything. Well, unless you count lunch. And a yummy Starbucks of course.
As planned I cleaned off the desk. It's amazing how cleaning something makes me feel so good. Or maybe it was the shopping now that I think about it....
But first, I must get out of this house. I haven't left in days. Except for our daily walks around the neighborhood. I need to go somewhere. So the mall it is for a few hours. And by need to go somewhere, I don't mean the grocery store.

My desk looks pretty much exactly the same! I'm leaving it to go mop the floors. I agree, grocery shopping does not equal getting out of the house.
If you'd like to feel better about that desk, I'd be happy to send you one of mine. But you might have some coronary problems after viewing it, and I wouldn't want to be responsible for that.
Wow, you sound like me. I haven't been anywhere in days, so today we went to the Post Office, Whoo Hoo! And then we went to check out the new Book Store in town. We were in luck, they had a train table. Our city is very boring with nothing for SAHM's. Ughhh...If you lived here we could have a play-date and be bored together! LOL!
P.S. The desk looks just like mine.

Hope you had fun getting out. Trips to the mall can do miracles for the soul, especially if they involve Starbucks or some other yummy treat for Mommy!
Yeah, your "messy" is my clean... But it looks really good now. Almost enought to inspire me to clean mine. ALMOST.
Yeah- it had to be the shopping! Ah- I need some of that. Even tho we just got new shoes, I can always do more shopping...

No, you should not be embarrassed by the first picture. I could show you one to make you feel better, but I won't! The mall definitely is good medicine!!
I thought the desk looked just fine in the first pic! lol. You should come to my house!!! I went to the mall today too, and bought stuff for the girls but didn't get anything for myself except for cramps that aren't leading anywhere!!!! anyway, The Children's Place was having a nice sale!!!

No, that first picture is a picture of a clean desk with some things tidily on it. You should see my desk, except there is NO WAY that I'm posting a picture.

great to meet you today, thanks for letting me try on your sling...i loved it...it definitely made it on my birthday list...lol...am i a dork for still having a birthday list? i mean everyone always asks me what i want, and i always say "something for the baby", but thet refuse to buy me b-day presents FOR jonah, so maybe if i say well the sling is a luxury that I WANT, not that i need...then i might get it...lol.
also, do not be embarrased by your desk...you should see my house...i decided i am going to embrace the mess. i am aoing to take pictures and i am going to let the world see my messy house. and maybe, when jonah is moved out and 35 years old, i'll clean my house...lol.

I don't know, that's a toss up. Shopping and getting organized both in the same day! I'd be on Cloud 9...
