Happy 10 Years

It hardly seems possible, but today me and Monte have been married for 10 years. 10 years is a big deal to me. Such a milestone. 1 job change, 4 moves, and 3 amazing little boys later, here we are. And I can't imagine being anywhere else. The road has not always been sunshine and rainbows, but I'm proud of the way we have always worked together to get through anything.

I was 20, and he was 19 when we found out I was pregnant. We both freaked out a bit (naturally) but he never faltered. He was committed to being a dad, to being a husband. We eloped when I was 7 months along. Told no one. Not even our best friends. I've never once regretted this decision. I love that it was just us. Our own private ceremony. I might not have worn a white dress, he didn't wear a tux, we didn't stand up in front of 200 friends and family, but we meant our vows just the same.
